Son Heung-min gets real competition… Carrasco signing pushed through if Kane leaves

Tottenham Hotspur are considering signing a competitor for Son Heung-min.

“Tottenham will use the transfer fee revenue from the sale of Harry Kane to sign Yannick Carrasco,” Spanish outlet Fichajes reported on Wednesday (April 3).

Tottenham’s performance last season was disappointing. They finished eighth in the league and missed out on qualifying for the UEFA Champions League and other European competitions.

The lack of success led to an active transfer market. Tottenham signed James Maddison, Pedro Foro, and Manor Solomon in quick succession to redeem themselves.스포츠토토

The signings didn’t end there. “Tottenham may have already opened talks with Atletico Madrid to sign Carrasco,” the publication said.

Nor would they have to worry about paying a transfer fee. Tottenham could make a profit of at least £90 million if they sell Kane. That’s more than enough money to pay Carrasco’s transfer fee.

The general consensus is that it would be a good signing. According to the report, Carrasco’s rustiness and extensive experience would be a boon to Spurs.

If he joins Spurs, he will have to compete with Son Heung-min. The right-footed Carrasco is at his best on the same left flank as Son.

He has a similar playing style and age to Son, making him a more direct competitor than Solomon.
